Small brands, fixed quotes: how I price projects

Why I quote a fixed price up front, what it includes and what happens when the scope changes.

Small brands budget in fixed amounts. An hourly estimate that might double is not useful when the money is coming from a founder’s savings.

What a fixed quote covers

Discovery, two design directions, refinement across every agreed format, print-ready files and support during the first print run. All of it is written down before we start.

When scope changes

It happens. A new product joins the range or a retailer asks for a display. I quote the addition separately, so the original price never moves without a reason you agreed to.
